Raycast — platform support, Store review & pricing, the fine print

Mac-first — the load-bearing caveat
Raycast is a Mac launcher. A Windows beta is live as of 2026-06, and extensions that avoid native-Mac APIs can run on both, but treat Mac as the default and don't promise Windows unless you've tested there. Nothing here helps a Linux recipient. [confirmed] See the Windows changelog.
The public Store review is a real gate
Unlike pushing a tool to a registry, a human reviews public Store listings first — they merge your pull request into raycast/extensions, then it auto-publishes. Budget days, not minutes, and a possible round of requested changes. The private org store has no review, so it's the fast path for "just my team." [confirmed] on the gate; [unclear] on timing — no SLA is published (checked 2026-06-07). See Publish an extension.
What costs money
Raycast itself and public-Store publishing are free. The private org store is a Raycast for Teams feature — re-check current plan terms at raycast.com/pro. [unclear]
